Just can’t win!

July 30, 2010

Well I keep trying but to no avail. The post I wrote and brought over on the flash drive that uncle Dan sent from Sac was in a newer Word format than this computer can read.  No it can’t upload the converter!  Summary;

Sarah went home. Sad

Levi and Jessie came to visit. Happy.

The South Africans came and went. Happy and Sad.

We made pizza on the Ghetto-Q. Yummy.

Levi and Jessie brought shaker Parmesian cheese. Very Yummy.

Two months without cheese. Hard.

Making meals out of potatoes, cabbage, peppers, onions and garlic. Healthy.

Making meals out of potatoes, cabbage, peppers, onions and garlic for two months. Very Healthy.

Septic tank, 10 meters deep, collapsing near the kids swing. Scary.

Emily spotting that it was collapsing and telling Micah to go check it out. God.

Drive out to see the missionaries in the Mursi. Adventurous.

Crossing the deepest river I ever have in a Landcruiser. Awesome.

Kai bit by a monkey. So scary.

Kai is well, monkey is well.  Thank God, again.

Miss everyone more than you can imagine. Seriously.

So great to hear from you guys! Love your picture.
Kai and the monkey sounds like an interesting story. Yikes!
July here has been beautiful and mild. We’re hiking Tallac this
weekend. Thinking of you guys and our Tahoe trip last year.
Natalie starts Kindergarten in three weeks. She’s so excited,
but questions why she has to go to school EVERY day. Jason’s
working hard and still filling his iPOD with music. I’m taking sewing
classes so I can make a Halloween outfit for Natalie this year.
Can’t imagine life without cheese 🙂 Hope the orphanage building plans
are going well. Miss you guys too. – Ann Marie

So thankful everyday for your safety. I love to hear every tidbit from you guys – just wish for more details. It was good to talk with Emily yesterday and to know that Kai is okay after his monkey bite. That will be a story to tell his kids! I loved talking with sweet tender Noah who misses his friend Nicolai and his cousin Sarah…and darling Isabella who helps you serve your guests spiced tea and popcorn and then climbs a tree in the compound! I love you and miss you so much! Can’t wait to come see you. May God bless your comings and goings…and keep you in the palm of His hands!

Wow! Wemiss you tons, too! I was just asking Kristin about you last night. Think and pray for you often. May God grant you wisdom and discernment for the path ahead. I pray for safety and comfort as you are so far from home. God is your high tower and place of refuge, do not be afraid!

We are so very thankful for all you are doing for the children. I know that Levi and Jessie are thankful for your presence and that you are a huge blessing to all you come into contact with. Thank you for giving so much of yourselves to the Lord’s work. You are changing lives. You continue to be in our prayers. Blessing!

So GOOD to hear form you all! I know I just talked to you but it’s good to see a blog because I know how hard it is for you. Haven’t stop praying for you all an especially Kai after our talk. Satan is defeated and Jesus is Lord in all of your lives. We continue to fight the battle with you. We love you guys so much. Stand in Him!

So great to hear from you again that God is keeping you all! Be very grateful for the onions and garlic my friend (and especially the Parmesean). Bronwyn tells me of all the corn meal mush that was the main sustenance while she was in Kenya – I think I would start gnawing on Goat’s legs. Don’t know if you heard, but we are very excited to help the Dunnes move back to Sac tomorrow. Maybe we can get some community back! Build it like it’s GOOD over there! Love and miss you Baginskis

    HOMIES!!!!! We miss you!
We should get together some time and talk ….
Ella was asking about Isabella the other day when she heard we were going to be in Africa. She figured Tangier was near enough to visit. So cute.
We think of you often. Love to you all.

Love you all. Thanks for the support. I don’t dig on Goat Steve. The orphanage plans have become more of a remodel of two places than a building of one place. That’s ok we are flexible, kinda. 🙂 Pizza! Rebbeca we miss you guys and think of Sinaloa often. Asher you are in Africa?
